Frequently Asked Questions

Is this event only for Guitar Crew members?

Nope! This is an open community event. Everyone is welcome.

Do I need to play an instrument?

Nope! If you like music, this is a space for you.  The Guitar Crew Year One Celebration is  here to celebrate the joys of music through playing instruments, singing songs, and/or grooving to the tunes and hanging out with friends.

Open Jam and Open Stage?

Bring a song to share in our encouraging community. All instrumentalist and singers are welcome and encouraged.  We can all sing and play together, or sign up at the Celebration to share a song on the open stage.

There won't really be a "stage". It will be more like the idea of a stage.

You have beautiful musical gifts and the larger Guitar Crew community look forward to hearing your music and celebrating those gifts with you.

Will the celebration be indoor or outdoor?

It will be a combination of both.  We'll probably congregate near our fire pit. And, the studio will be open if folks need to warm up, or if the weather is decidedly crummy.

Will there be food and drinks or should I bring something?

We'll be providing a mac and cheese station where you'll be able to customize your own bowl. And, we'll have alcohol and alcohol-free beverages.

If you are up for bringing a snack or beverage to share with the Crew, we'd gladly accept.

What is Guitar Crew anyway?
